He was predeceased by: his parents, Anneliese Haefner and Richard Haefner; his parents-in-law, Frances and Gordon Kettle; and his former wife Mary Anne Ilmer.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita Ilmer; his children, Randy Ilmer (Melissa), Kody Nuttall, Crystal Uchman (Joe) and Natasha Cheater (Marc); his grandchildren, Cora Haugan, Jameson Cheater, Trenton Cheater, Cassie Ilmer, Kenna Ilmer, Jack Uchman and Olivia Uchman; his brother Brian Haefner (Jessica); and his siblings-in-law, Alice Pittman (Charlie), Patricia Letient (Henri), Wayne Kettle (Florence) and Jeff Irwin (Noi). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
