He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Annie Dahl; his son Robert; his wife Josephine "Josie" Hauger; his daughter Janice; his daughter-in-law Susan; and his sisters, Joan (Einar Loven) and Laura (Allan Hauger).
He is survived by: his children, Larry (Verla), Douglas (Linda), Lorraine (Alan Walker), Ricky (Karen) and Dorothy (Ashley Heggelund); his daughter-in-law Lorna (Robert); and his sister Karen (Andy Plummer). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-granddaughter, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors.
