He is survived by: his wife Iris Halwa; his children, Leon Halwa (Sue) and Rhonda Pelster (Henry); his sisters, Sophie Hamer and Irene Houle; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Halwa, Millie Hlookoff and Shirley Halwa; and his grandchildren, Ryan Pelster (Hailey), Amanda Pelster and Serene Pelster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
