He was predeceased by: his parents, Ken Palmer and Hannah Palmer; his brother Mike Palmer; his parents-in-law, Roy and Beryl Boyd; and his brother-in-law Dave Boyd.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ken and Hannah Palmer; his son Kevin (Colleen); his wife Val; his daughter Lori Bombier (Jordon); his grandson Tyler; his children, Ellen Coleman (Bruce), Jean Durrant (Tom), Sharon Snow (Wally) and Marlene Campbell (Doug); his sisters-in-law, Lillian Palmer, Cheryl Gorrie (Frank), Donna Campbell (Gerald), Vivian Sandboe (Kerry), Marilyn Pederson (Kurt), Susan Pattersen (Rick) and Fay Boyd; and his caregivers, Matt, Angie, Tiffany, Lorelle and Kyle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
