She was predeceased by: her son Gary; her husband Martin Giesbrecht; her children-in-law, Marie, Walter and Dick; and her grandson David.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne (Elsie), Ann (Don) and Norma (Neil); her grandchildren, Keith, Ken (Karen), Susan (Blayne), Carrie (Ross), Edi, Charlie (Catherine), Melodee (Shane), Korie (Ed), Rita, Lance (Christina), Dorion and Kaitlyn; and her great grandchildren, Keifer, Kenton, Kenny, Kiersten, Taryn, Anysa, Nicholas, Alexandria, Jordan, Odin, Drake, Hailey and Michael. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
