He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Slette and Jennie Slette; his close friend Linda Wilkins; his sons, Brent Slette (Mandie) and Trevor Hansen (Alex); his grandchildren, Ashton Slette (Tyler), Kale Slette (Taylor), Carter Hansen and Arianna Hansen; his siblings, Geneanne Shigematsu (Dale) and Eugene Slette (Ruth); and his brother-in-law Tom Shigematsu.
