He was predeceased by: his father Steve Frank Hinko; and his granddaughter Winnie Adina Bird. He is survived by: his daughters, Jenny Polischuk (Graham) of Fort Saskatchewan, Alyson Bird (Jon), Leslie Cartwright of Edmonton and Mikel Hinko of Fort McMurray; his grandchildren, Jacey, Kingston, Amelia, Stella and Neely; his mother Gail Hinko; and his brother Mark Hinko (June). He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as friends.
