He is survived by: his parents, Brian Short of Fort McMurray, AB and Angela Rushton of McAdam, NB.; his sisters, Shelby Short (Colton Morehouse) of Zealand, NB and Shawna Short of Woodstock, NB.; his grandparents, Joyce, Donald Green of Astle, NB, Gail and Darell Richard of Woodstock, NB; his aunts and uncles, Tammy Short, Daryl Cann of Hanwell, NB, Kelly Short-Martin, Marc Martin of Hanwell, NB, Sarah Short of Marysville, NB, Christopher Rushton of Calgary, AB and Kevin Blair; his cousins, Heather, Hilary, Rebecca, Kelsey, Zachary, Hannah and Octavia; and his close friend Dylan Highers.
In Chris' memory, a memorial fund will be set up to help people who are "down on their luck".
