She was predeceased by: her father John Van Drunen; and her husband Wayne Gagnon. She is survived by: her mother Antonia Van Drunen; her daughters, Catherine Gagnon and Amanda Gagnon; and her grandsons, Jaxon Loyie and Ryan Loyie. She is also survived by her siblings, many nieces and nephews, and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Sehra's honor may be made to the Stollery Children's Foundation.
