She was predeceased by : her daughter Kathie (LeRoy); her parents, Rudolf Gruger and Adina Hewko; her sisters, Ester Tober and Diane Bertrand; her stepfather Metro Hewko; and her stepsiblings, Janet Basaraba and Lyle Hewko.

She is survived by : her sons, Allan and Robert; her grandchildren, Jacqueline (Shawn), Tyler, Brandon, Holly (Lance) and Dillon (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Niomi, Olivia, Alexandria and Lennox; her brother Albert Gruger (Marlene); and her niece Roxane Beveridge (Denise Hewko). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
