He was predeceased by : his parents, John Cahill and Rose Cahill; his brother Frank; and his brother-in-law Tom Henry. He is survived by : his wife Doodie Cahill (Bridget); his children, Suzanne Findlay (James), Nicola Cahill, Fiona Lavoy (Eric) and Ronan Cahill; his grandchildren, Megan, Sarah, Kaitlyn, Declan Findlay, Connor, Adam Hoag, Hannah and Maeve Lavoy; his siblings, Dr. Sean Cahill (Madge) and Pauline Henry; and his sister-in-law Mabel. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.

Government issued photo ID and proof of vaccination via QR code or a negative COVID test in the last 72 hours is required upon entry.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
