He was predeceased by : his father Orrin; mother Barbara (Beryl) Day; First wife Edna (Ewing) Day his second wifeTattiana (Papouban) Day; his son-in-law Joe Mudge; his grandchildren, Susan Kovach and Steven Freeman; and his siblings, Harold Day and Marjorie Williams.
He is survived by : his daughters, Jenny Palmer (David), Donna Mudge, Alma Glennie (Fred), Beatrice Freeman (Bob), Meredith Day, Ruth Day and Schmidt (Stephen); and his stepdaughters, Marina, Katia, Lana and Genia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six step grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren.
