She was predeceased by : her parents, Raffaele Simpatico and Teresa Simpatico; her husband Antonio; and her siblings, Lina Kwiatkowski, Giovanni Simpatico and Michele Simpatico.

She is survived by : her children, Dario (Maureen), Lillian (Lance Reid) and Vivian (Barrett Pashak); her grandchildren, Chloe, Joshua, Gabriel and Aidan; her sister Maria Filippelli; and her siblings-in-law, Cristina Simpatico, Ersilia Simpatico, Francesca Zenari, Franca Zenari and Ferdinando Zenari. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A prayer was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church (9110 110 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5H4A1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at the same location.
