He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Burkinshaw and Hazel Burkinshaw; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Stelfox and Paul Bovy. He is survived by: his children, Iris Reimer (Don), Dawna Morton (Roger), James Burkinshaw (Niki) and Andrew Burkinshaw (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Amy, Anthony, Valarie Reimer, Mikassa Morton, Logan, Parker Burkinshaw, Declan, Rylan and Jaylan Burkinshaw; his siblings, Lorraine Wheat (Perry), Mervin Burkinshaw (Sandra), Marlene Bovy and Rosanne Wilton (Brian); and his uncle Walter Burkinshaw. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
