He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice Hollingshead; his parents, Frank Hollingshead and Minnie Hollingshead; and his siblings, Bill Hollingshead, George Hollingshead, Norma Ehman and Glenn Hollingshead.

He is survived by: his sons, Jim Hollingshead (Denise) and Kenn Hollingshead (Nancy); his grandchildren, Susan Lovett (Matthew), Steve Hollingshead, Ryan Hollingshead (Shannon), Jeff Hollingshead, Lesley Hodge (Dan) and Samantha Hollingshead; his great grandchildren, Brandon, Connor Lovett, Astin, Jersey, Presley, Channing Hollingshead, Brooklyn, Kingston Hollingshead and Nora Hodge; and his close friend Shirley Rourke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
