Gerald John Zaharia Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald John Zaharia of Cold Lake, Alberta, born in Preeceville, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 7, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Metro Zaharia and Mary Zaharia; his son Todd Wiltermuth; his siblings-in-law, Carole Zaharia, Ernie Bogucky and Arnold Alksne; and his niece Cindy Zaharia.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Zaharia; his children, Jerald Zaharia, Jayne Hutchison (Travis) and Joslyn Rusk (Aaron); his grandchildren, MacKenna Wiltermuth, Kaden Hutchison, Kyler Hutchison, Konnor Hutchison, Sydney Rusk, Rowyn Rusk and Peyton Rusk; his siblings, Orest Zaharia, Iris Bogucky and Gloria Durette; and his friend Jane Lee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
