He was predeceased by: his parent Obediah Acker; his grandson Christopher; and his sister Faye. He is survived by: his parent Marion Acker (Crouse); his wife Bonnie Jean (Veinot); his children, Stephanie Acker, Teresa Burton and Benjerman Durling-Acker of Cold Lake; his grandchildren, Spencer Burton, Ethan Burton and Kadence Acker; and his siblings, Roland (Linda), Kenny (Carola), Betty (Jim), Muriel (Mervin), Shirley and Elizabeth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
