She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Ricketts and Leo Ricketts; her parents-in-law, Verna and Ken Pearson; her sister Denise Hilbrecht; and her brother-in-law Larry Fermaniuk.

She is survived by: her husband Rick Pearson; her children, Deanna Romanchuk (Tyler) and Michael Pearson (Dawn Hodder); her pet Mittens; and her sister Janet Fermaniuk (Guy Garneau).

On April 12, complications with the disease led to her being admitted to the hospital, in the midst of a pandemic.
