He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Butler and Lydia Butler. He is survived by: his wife Linda Butler; his son Brodie Butler (Amber Babcock); and his brothers, Darcy Butler (Karen) and Blaine Butler (Suen). He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
