It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Gertude Thoma (Barrhead, Alberta), who passed away on February 21, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Ottilie Nelisher (Tillie); her brother-in-law William Nelisher (Bill); her parents, Maria and Johann; and her parents-in-law, Mary and Anton.

She is survived by: her husband Albin Thoma; her children, Alvin Thoma, Joanne Bourgeois (Eugene), Sylvia Connell (Kevin) and Michelle Jabs (Stephen); her grandchildren, Nina Kooter (Tim), Steven Bourgeois (Kayla), Nicholas Bourgeois (Vanessa Chase), Ethan Connell, Adam Connell, Andrew Jabs and Matthew Jabs; her great grandchildren, Wren Bourgeois, Daliah Bourgeois, Marritt Kooter and Nova Bourgeois; and her friend Germany. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
