He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Côté and Antoinette Guilbault; his son Trevor; and his siblings, Andrew, Catherine, Donald and Christine.

He is survived by: his father-in-law E. Albert Willey; his wife Lorraine Willey; his child Kimberley (Timothy McCarthy); his grandchildren, Brittany Choiniere (Josh) and Michael McCarthy (Leanne); and his mother-in-law Gladys Willey. He is also survived by his 12 siblings, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, as well as other relatives and friends.
