She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Young; her daughter Marilyn Moon; and her sisters, Jean, Birdie and Olive.

She is survived by: her children, Frances Young (John) and Lou Ann Young (Ken); her grandchildren, Jason Hickey (Shelley), Rejean Hickey (Loretta), Michael Moon (Heather), Harrison Moon (Teisha), Stephen Moon and Victoria Nightingale; and her siblings, Garnet (late Jean), Donald (Jean) and Vivert (Iona).

In lieu of flowers, donations to St John's Anglican Cemetery in Quyon, Quebec would be greatly appreciated.
