“Mr. Neville Martin was my first cricket coach at Naracoorte South Primary in the late 1960s. He was the loveliest man, we were all treated with such kindness and his coaching skills were first rate. I do recall watching him bat in senior cricket, late in the day in dimming light when survival was the goal. He played and missed on several occasions and a team mate yelled out "Do you need a torch out there Neville?". Even the 9 year old watching his hero recognised the humour. Mick Barrett”
