She is survived by : her parents, Emma Harris and Carson Backstrom; her former life partners, James C. Johns, Jr., Peter V. Johns, Sr. (Beverly) and Renetta Roquemore (Darryl); and her sisters, Virgail Amos (James), Joette Wood-Patrick (Brent), Kim Wood and Arlene Wood.
