The memory of Ophelia R. Ontiveros of Georgetown, Texas, who passed away on May 10, 2024 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Seferina Garza and Richard Rowland; her grandmother Louisa Garza; and her sisters, Delia G. Gutierrez, Mary Lou G. Rose and Liz Ochoa.

She is survived by : her children, Robert Barrera, Norma B. Perales (Ruben U. Perales), Anthony Barrera, Michael Johnson, Nelda B. Valenzuela (Donald Valenzuela) and Guadalupe O. Hernandez (Gilbert 'Gilly' Hernandez); her aunt Florence Garza; and her siblings, Ben Gonzalez Jr., Frank Gonzalez, Richard Rowland, Paul Rowland, Nate Rowland, Nancy Burns and Joyce Powell. She is also survived by her children, eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel (393 N Interstate Hwy 35, Georgetown, TX 78628).
