He was predeceased by : his mother Connie Hernandez; his stepfather Paul Olvera; and his nephew Daniel Heath. He is survived by : his children, Alexis Hernandez (Donaldo Martinez), Kayla Hernandez and Devin Hernandez (Kayla Guzman); his grandchildren, Alithea Saucedo, Aiden Martinez, Anissa Hernandez and Selena Hernandez; his sister Peyote Olvera; his nephews, Michael Heath and Brian Heath; and his niece Holly Heath.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A prayer was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
