We bid farewell to Gregory Stuart McVey in Austin, Texas, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 24, 2024 at the age of 66. Gregory Stuart touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his wife Liz; and his parents, Robert McVey and Joyce McVey of New Kensington, PA.. He is survived by : his brother Jeff McVey (Chris) of Lower Burrell, PA; his in-laws, Bruce and Marie Shupp of Brant Lake, NY; his siblings-in-law, Jane Bennett (Bruce) of Chestertown, NY, Jonathan Shupp of Chestertown, NY and Frank Shupp (Becca) of Hilton Head, SC; his nieces, Alicia McVey (Mark Shearer) of Washington, PA, Danielle Pasakarnis (Tom) of Alexandria, VA, Joanna Sockoloskie (Keith) of Mechanicsville, MD and Erica Remington (Greg Dower); his niece Annie Lafontaine (Dennis); his great-niece Vanessa of Lake George, NY; his nieces, Anne Shupp and Sarah-Kate Shupp of Hilton Head, SC.; and also Carter of Pottersville, NY. He is also survived by grandnieces/nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749).
