It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lynn Pugh of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Sullivan, Indiana, who passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Evans and Zoanne Juell Pugh; and his brothers, Dixon Pugh and Dwight Pugh. He is survived by : his wife Mary Lowe Pugh; his sons, John Pugh of Jacksonville and James Richard Pugh (Jimmy Dick) of Lake Placid, Florida; his brother Donald Pugh of Lake Placid, Florida; and his grandchildren, Michael Pugh, Reuben Pugh, Nicole Pugh and David Pugh.

A reception was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906).
