She was predeceased by : her parents, Jozef Hruncak and Anna Hruncak. She is survived by : her children, Suzanne (George "Jesse" Fickinger) and David Chovanec (Sue); and her nephew Stephen Karabin of Morton. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (312 1st St W, Milan, IL 61264). An entombment was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at the Chippiannock Cemetery (2901 12th St, Rock Island, IL 61201).

While Marcia's stay at Clarissa C. Cook was brief, memorials may be made to them for their extremely compassionate care.
