He was predeceased by : his father William Eli Harvey; his wife Melody Sue Watts; his nephew Frederick Wheeler; and his brother-in-law Dave Henry. He is survived by : his mother Marjorie Mae Harvey (Yates); his children, Lacey Harvey-Rollins (Garrett) and William Eric Harvey (Amanda Andrews); his grandchildren, William "Soda" Erickson III, Anthony Jordan Harvey, Melody Mae Harvey-Erickson, Lennon Harvey-Rollins, Joplynn Harvey-Rollins and Zoey Burton; his siblings, Linda Gritten, Janet Haladay (Jeff), Gloria Henry, Robert Harvey (Anita) and Lisa Wheeler (Jeff); and his friends, JaK and Stella. He is also survived by his kids and grandkids.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chrisman Church of the Nazarene (313 N Pennsylvania St, Chrisman, IL 61924). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at the Crown Hill Cemetery.
