With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terrance Albert Chivis of Athens, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on May 4, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, David Chivis and Daisy Chivis (Medawis); and his wife Ruth Ann Bailey. He is survived by : his grandchildren, Onyleen Zapata of Battle Creek, Ofelia Zapata of Athens and Owyn Zapata of Athens; and his great grandchildren, Zailah and Delilah Zapata. He is also survived by his one sister and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pine Creek Reservation Community Building (1485 Mno-Bmadzewen Way, Fulton, MI 49052). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Pine Creek Community Center (1485 Mno-Bmadzewen Way, Fulton, MI 49052).
